Facilities Maintenance Person

The Taubman Company has an immediate opportunity for a Facilities Maintenance person at our Stamford Town Center.  The primary mission of this position is to support the facilities management program to ensure that the asset value of the center is maintained and protected.

 

Under the direction of the Facilities Director, responsibilities include:

 

Maintenance and repair of shopping centers mechanical, electrical, plumbing systems, architectural features, wall and floor finishes interior and exterior and other components pertinent to a lifestyle super regional shopping center.

 

Preparing written and computer generated work order requests, logs, records and reports to accurately document work performed.

 

Respond to tenant, customer and building related service calls promptly and professionally.

 

Position requires some work on holidays, weekends and nights with a flexible proactive attitude.

 

 

Salary range: $16.00 - $22.00/hour based upon experience

Qualifications:

 

Computer skills required, BAS system and PM software knowledge a plus.

 

High School Diploma or equivalent.

 

2 to 3 years experience in a facilities maintenance position with general knowledge of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, fire protection and building automation systems.
