This role is in our feedstocks operations group which handles VGO movements across the globe and inventory locations throughout the US. You will be responsible for coordinating physical moves with counter-parties, scheduling vessels, barges & tank transfers, blending, contract review, chartering equipment, nominations, assigning inspectors, terminal inventory, communicating pricing details as well as dispute management for operational issues. You will work closely with the traders to optimize profit by employing best operational practices and decision-making. In addition you will work with other internal support groups and external customers to manage all operational details. This position requires that someone be committed to maintaining 100% compliance and continuously looking for ways to improve in this area.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills • The ability to work with a wide variety of people • Attention to detail • Able to multi-task • Critical thinking skills & independent thinker • Flexible • Proactive • On call to make decisions 24 hours per day, 7 days per week • Able to utilize the computer tools available to assist in tracking, scheduling, and analyzing product movements. • Computer skills – Word, Excel, Outlook • Prefer someone with 2 plus years of products scheduling experience. • Experience in barge scheduling, accounting, terminal operations and products measurement would be helpful.Bachelors Degree
