Field Service Representative

Dresser Waukesha manufactures large, spark-ignited, gaseous fueled, reciprocating engines. We also package Enginator engine-driven generator sets. Our products are widely used in field gas compression, power generation and other mechanical drive applications. Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Perform duties in compliance with all applicable departmental and divisional ISO quality procedures and work instructions.



2. Identify and pursue continuous improvement opportunities related to job duties.



3. Provide technical assistance, failure analysis, and troubleshooting to OEMs, distributors, and customers for all Waukesha products except CFR.



4. Schedule and conduct periodic visits to OEMs, distributors, and customers to gather their product concerns and report these concerns (in conjunction with the department managers direction) in a timely and accurate manner.



5. Monitor and follow-up on items needing attention by Waukesha.



6. Travel as required for indefinite periods of time to perform job tasks (domestic or international).



7. Submit detailed reports concerning inspections, service work, start-ups, failure analysis, and activities.





Educational Background Required:

-Associate degree in Combustion Engine Technology or equivalent field.



Educational Background Desired:

-Degree in automotive or industrial equipment.



Work Experience Required:

-Minimum of two years experience repairing and servicing industrial engines or related equipment and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
