Financial Reporting Manager

Summary:

Provide management and support for corporate consolidation and reporting function of the company, ensuring timely and accurate financial information to its executive management, operations management, outside lenders and the company owners.  Responsible for the consolidating accounting and reporting functions for the company's business units.

 

Responsibilities:

Lead team members, foster their professional development and growth, and promote teamwork and cooperation.

Manage the consolidating and reporting process, including the eliminations process, preparation of the income statement, balance sheet and cash flow.

Administer the preparation and distribution of timely and accurate operation/financial statements to both internal management and external users

Manage capital expenditure reporting and forecasting process.

Manage the balance sheet income and inter-company transactions review process 

Support the preparation of required financial information for distribution to outside investors and analysts, including quarterly and annual reports and proxy statements

Support the audits of company accounts both GAAP and statutory. Cooperate with auditors and review audit reports, as necessary.

Support the development of policies and procedures including the defined chart of accounts to ensure high quality and efficient accounting and reporting across all countries.

Support select global accounting process of hedge and stock options.

Support GAAP compliance and guidance for region and country finance management. 

Develop and maintain financial systems required to meet reporting requirements.

Prepare Global financial closing schedules and reports for management.

 

Requirements:

Knowledge of contact services industry and best practices.

Knowledge of PC applications.

Knowledge of GAAP reporting requirements.

Ability to interact effectively with all levels of management and customers.

Ability to work with minimal guidance or supervision in a time critical environment.

Ability to be flexible and quickly adapt to changing business needs and processes.

Ability to motivate and mentor team, presenting new opportunities and challenges for additional development.

Ability to develop, innovate and integrate effective accounting programs.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration, CPA or MBA with a minimum of 5 years related experience.

Equivalent education or experience may be substituted for any of the above.
