Job Description:REPRESENTATIVE ACTIVITIES:• This position is meant to be the “first line” of contact for customers as they enter the branch.• Must achieve applicable sales goals. Sell appropriate bank products or services or refer to appropriate business line.• Identify and address customer needs by providing a wide variety of in-branch services which may include, but are not limited to, opening new accounts, issuing counter checks, redeeming savings bonds, performing money transfers, receiving loan payments, and selling/buying foreign currency.• Resolve customer problems either through direct personal action or referral to alternative branch or bank resources.• Identify and maximize cross-sales opportunities through customer profiling.• Enhance customer relationships by telemarketing bank products.• Ensure customer is referred to correct line of business.• Take, process and close loan applications.• Perform basic service transactions that take minimal time such as address changes, check orders, giving account balances, performing stop payments and answering phones.• Maintain customer account records.• May be assigned to opening and closing the branch and other operational tasks.Minimum Education Requirements.Desired Years of Relevant Experience.Skills & Knowledge• High School Diploma or equivalent. • Normally 1 year of sales or service experience.• Excellent customer service and communication skills.• Understands and skilled in applying basic sales techniques.• Knowledgeable on bank products and various bank lines of business in order to refer correctly.• Must have flexible availability Mon-SaturdayPlease visit the Careers section at Regions.com to submit your resume to this position.Click here to apply via the Regions Career Opportunity PortalExpected Travel Time: None
