Responsibilities:Design, review and implement policies and procedures for billing, collections, and accounting departments.Develop servicing plans to enhance client relations and portfolio growth.Coordinate with programmers on program upgrades and identify inconsistencies for revision.Prepare reports for executive management.Supervise a team of employees and report to top management.Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor progress of all department projects.Oversee the implementation of and adherence to HIPAA policies and procedures. Continually research state regulations, insurance industry, medical bill review, patient privacy law, and medical citation.Ensure the accuracy of data entry, accounts receivable and accounts payable.Assist Controller in monthly as well as annual reconciliation analysis.Review daily accounting activities including AR deposits, GL balances, authorize ACH payment as well as prepare various account statements and financial reports.
