Job Description:The Hanover Insurance Group is actively recruiting for our Financial Leadership Program located in Worcester, MA.The Hanover Financial Leadership Program is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to learn all aspects of the financial management of a Property & Casualty Insurer while making an immediate impact to the business.Responsibilities This world class 2-3 year-long training program prepares high performers to become the future leaders of our company by combining challenging 9-12 month job rotations with top notch industry training, the opportunity to participate in and lead high priority projects, and formalized networking and mentoring. Each high-visibility job rotation gives the individual the opportunity to make an immediate contribution to the success of the company. Upon successful completion of the program, participants are expected to assume key roles within the company. All job rotations are highly analytical in nature and report directly to a senior management team that truly believes in the value of this program to both the participant and to the company. These managers were chosen to participate in this program as sponsors due to their ability and their openness to transfer their years of experience and knowledge into future leaders. A specialized development plan is created for each program participant. Special project work is assigned based on the individual’s development goals. Participants meet continuously with leadership and the program director to discuss individual development. Additionally, each participant chooses a mentor to help guide him or her on their career path and journey with Hanover Insurance. Requirements Master’s Degree One to three years of relevant work experience. An ability to think critically about business problems and apply structure appropriately to solve them. Strong analytical and problem solving skills Ability to influence change. Good teamwork, leadership and interpersonal skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
