Position responsibilities: 

PFHS is looking for a professional and enthusiastic individual to provide superior exercise area supervision in a corporate fitness facility.  The candidate should be a conscientious, reliable, and upbeat individual.  The individual will be responsible for exercise program revisions, exercise testing/program design (based on ACSM guidelines), implement incentive programs, and provide overall support to the staff in all facets of fitness center and programming.  This position also provides an excellent opportunity for the candidate to support the efforts of the client’s company wide health promotion.

 

Position Requirements: 

 BS in an exercise or health related field Current CPR/First Aid Certification/AED Prior experience working in corporate health/fitness industry Knowledge and experience with ACSM exercise prescription and exercise testing guidelines Minimum of 1 certification from a recognized authority organization (ACSM, ACE, AFAA, NSCA) Good verbal and written communication skills Computer literate in window based programs (word, excel, and power point)

 

 

Recommended Certifications: (not mandatory but nice to have)

  Nutrition Certificate Yoga Certification PAS Certification or knowledge of the Egoscue Method
