Functional Tester with Macroscope Experience

Job Description:CDI has an exciting opportunity waiting for you! We are looking for exceptional people! We have an immediate need for a Functional Tester with Macroscope Experience! JOB DUTIES: This individual creates/updates functional test data and functional test scripts, and executes the tests. This individual will be working on the jobsite with the testing team.Roles and Responsibilities:-Create/update detailed functional test specifications in the form of functional test cases, functional test scripts, and functional test data requirements. -Execute and document the results of functional tests. -Validate the critical requirements, and describe the coherence or variances with regard to the release being delivered.-Manage the resolution of the variances found during testing.-Provide testing status on assigned test task.-Raise, communicate and manage test issues (test variances, execution issues, etc) to both the test team and test leadership.JOB SKILLS: 2-3 years experience in functional testing of 3-tiered, web-based and integrated applications. This includes the following:-Creating/updating test scripts from existing functional specifications.-Creating/updating test data on documentum. Knowledge of XML and documentum required for creating/updating the required test data.-Well versed in testing best practices.-Knowledge of the Macroscope testing approach is a plus.-Knowledge of the BEAR/BOBCATT applications and/or CAS integrated applications is a plus.-A team player and accustomed to tight testing schedule.-Experience in integrated applications testing is a plus.-Knowledge of the Macroscope methodology is a plus.-Experience with similar authoring tool is a plus.-Must be able to be independent in a relatively short period of time.
