Job Description:I am currently seeking a NETWORK MANAGER for one of my prestigious clients. Do you have the experience I need? The position entails that the director, network management reports directly to the vice president, and manages care operations. He/she is the primary director responsible for network development, network analysis, provider issues resolution, provider education, site visits, joint operations meetings with health plans, and newsletter development. The director is responsible for managing the IPA Network Management staff and the departments capital and operating budget.Following skills are most desiresable: a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Health care Management, Organizational Development, or another related field is preferred. The Director, Network Management should at least have two years minimum experience in the provider relations field with a managed care organization, IPA or HMO. Two Years years of management experience along with a working knowledge of medical terminology, claims payment, contract negotiations and problem resolution is required.
