Job Description:SummaryResponsible for the day-to-day administration and management of Human Resource Management programs and systems. Develops, analyzes, implements and manages team member, company, and industry data for the company’s Equity programs including: stock, stock options, restricted stock, etc. Successfully provides expertise and counsel including, but not limited to management and program administration, team member training and guidance, policy and procedure; and participates and manages special projects to include interfacing with vendors, consultants, and Company personnel at all levels.ResponsibilitiesWith little or no supervision, provides a high level of service to internal clients, including executive and senior management, related to equity awards and administration. Administration and management may involve systems and processes related to the following: Performs research by gathering, assembling and compiling internal and external data for studies and reports and develops solutions involving comprehensive matters. Projects may be complex in nature and vary in scope. Provides recommendations on laws, rules, and regulations applicable to the organization. Escalates to legal counsel, when directed. Recommends, interprets and implements corporate administrative policies and procedures. Establishes systemic audits and controls to ensure accuracy, compliance, and reporting of corporate, federal, multi-state and local regulations and laws. Recommends improved policies and procedures as necessary. Researches third-party administrative services to meet the needs of the organization. Ensures relationships and cost effective, value added programs are maintained. Verifies compliance with record retention standards and procedures. Designs, recommends, and implements equity programs that support company objectives, and ensures all facets of program administration have been accounted for, both internally and within the TPA. Develops system and report specifications that meet the need of management, human resources, and other internal clients. Troubleshoots system issues and recommends/implements solutions as assigned. Maintains thorough knowledge of related systems, both internal and external. Provides accurate, timely, and professional responses to award recipients via written and verbal communication. This would include explaining complex details with easy to understand language. Develops procedures for the preparation, documentation, and disbursement of all equity awards, dividend payments, vesting schedules, and exercises. Ensures accurate accounting distribution, preparation of earnings file, and payments. Works with the accounting group to reconcile key equity accounts and account for stock based compensation expense in accordance with all rules and regulations applicable to equity compensation. Reviews and arranges for payment of third-party administrator invoices. Conducts team member training on programs, policies, procedures and benefits; Designs required visual and written materials. Performs other duties as assigned.Required Skills:Education/ExperienceFour year college degree and 4 or more years of general Human Resources or brokerage services experience or 6 or more years general Human Resources or brokerage services experience required. Experience with equity programs within an HR environment strongly preferred. TSYS experience is also preferred. Displays advanced knowledge of equity administration, applicable rules and regulations, industry standards, industry practice. Working knowledge of the Mellon system preferred.
