Position: HR Consultant, People Planning and Engagement

Reports To: Director, People Planning and Engagement

Purpose:
This role exists to support the HR Director, People Planning Engagement in the project management, co-ordination and reporting activities which fall directly from the North America Regional People agenda.

Key Accountabilities:
Building and maintaining effective relationships will be critical to the success of this role.

Talent Management
Manage and co-ordinate the Talent Management agenda across the North America Region, working closely with key stakeholders to ensure the timely, high quality completion of the Talent Management process and to drive and embed Talent Management further through the North American business units. Maintain, analyze and draw insights from talent data, identifying trends and proposing resulting developments to the talent agenda. Act as the subject matter expert for the region on the new Talent Management System.

Engagement
Project manage the annual employee engagement survey cycle on behalf of the North America Region and drive the analysis of the survey results and the subsequent action planning process.

Leadership
As part of the North America Regions Leadership Alliance, project manages the embedding of the companys leadership outcomes through the introduction of the leadership feedback tools and through the alignment of the leadership outcomes with existing leadership practices. Co-ordinate on behalf of the Region, any nomination activity for Group Leadership Development Programs.

Overall HR Strategy
Drive the annual strategy planning timetable; prepare and maintain the annual people calendars for the people agenda, tracking and reporting against progress on behalf of the HR Senior Leadership team

Ability to identify, assimilate, simplify and communicate complex MI and theoretical material. Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy, independently and to tight timescales. Ability to see problems holistically and propose imaginative and appropriate solutions. Ability to gain credibility and influence senior leaders in HR and the rest of the business. Ability to formulate and deliver Talent strategies, plans and activities that positively influence the building of the people agenda. Qualifications and Experience:

A minimum of 7 to 10 years experience in Human Resources. Preferred degree/equivalent or similar broad based qualification including HR designation/certification.
Generalist HR experience in a large corporate environment. Experience of working within a complex matrix environment requiring collaborative working. Personal credibility with key decision makers in HR. Demonstrable experience and understanding of Talent strategies and methodologies. Experience of working to strict project disciplines.
