HR Director Job Title:  HR Director - Corporate Salary:  Depends on Experience Duration:  Full-time Description:The HR Director will be responsible for participation and collaboration in the development and support of human resources plans and programs inclusive of employee relations, employee compensation, benefits administration, employee management & training, human resource policy development and employee communications with particular support of the IT Department.EMPLOYEE RECRUITMENT & WORKFORCE PLANNING: · Supports key corporate recruitment initiatives, employee branding, and all recruitment and retention communications. · Ensures employment offers are made in writing in accordance with Company policy and procedures EMPLOYEE RELATIONS · Advises and interprets Human Resources policy for field · Reviews and develops as needed and provides guidance on policies and procedures EMPLOYEE COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: · Understands tools and reports available to management to assist them in managing personnel costs · Provides counsel to line and senior management on compensation issues EMPLOYEE TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT · Ensures field management training programs are utilized and promoted · Collaborates with CL&PD in development of management training initiatives INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY DEPT HUMAN RESOURCES SUPPORT · Develops and supports the IT Department's recruitment strategy and hiring process · Participates in the interview process for higher level and IT positions · Monitors IT retention, new hires, and other related recruitment metrics · Oversees IT Department Compensation compliance and programs, including compliance with FLSA (Fair Labor Standards Act) regarding administration of job descriptions and employee classification regarding exempt and non-exempt, adherence to salary administration guidelines, practices, and framework; Develops IT bonus plans as appropriateEDUCATION Bachelor Degree in Human Resources or related field. Advanced education preferred.Requirements: · At least 5 years in experience in management of human resources, preferably with general Human Resources functions and in healthcare, or 5 to 10 years in progressive management positions.· At least 3 years human resources experience in information technology field · Demonstrated leadership competencies and skills for the position, including excellent communication, including public speaking and employee training and customer service.· At least 3 years human resources experience in information technology field Demonstrated leadership competencies and skills for the position, including excellent communication, including public speaking and employee training, customer service, continuous quality improvement, relationship development, results orientation, team building, motivating employees, performance management, and strategically oriented.· Demonstrated management skills necessary to provide leadership in the supervision of Human Resources staff · Maintains working knowledge of all Human Resources related laws, practices, and trends through continued education learning
