Sitel is currently accepting resumes for the position of HR Generalist/Recruiting Leader in our Albuquerque, NM location.

 

Summary of Primary Job Responsibilities: 



 

Serves as the functional leader for site-based recruitment and selection of Agents to meet client needs; may provide additional support in associate relations, training or other HR functions as needed.  Works with HR Manager and Site Director to evaluate ability to hire and retain qualified applicants in timeframes requested.  Ensures active community outreach and advertising to meet needed applicant flow to fill positions.  Ensures proper completion of job applications, background checks and administration of pre-employment assessments. Ensures adherence to employment laws and hiring practices.  Maintains knowledge of local labor market and trends.  Supports training for associates primarily focused on recruiting activities.  Ensure compliance with general HR policies, processes and procedures and assists HR team in delivery of overall responsibilities.  May train, mentor, and assist in the development of others.  Supports management and all associates within a site. 



 

Typical Qualifications: 



 

Education: Four-year college degree preferred.



 

Experience Target: 2-5 years progressive work experience in human resources with successful experience in recruiting non-exempt personnel in a high volume environment.  Additional experience in other HR disciplines strongly preferred.  Experience demonstrating general knowledge, interpretation, and application of employment laws.  Experienced in conducting behavioral interviews and using pre-employment testing tools.  Call Center industry experience helpful.

 

Skills:  Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills including strong verbal communication skills, facilitation skills and influencing skills, good written communication skills. Good problem solving, organization, and time management skills.  Presentation skills.  Excellent customer service skills. Good computer skills – Microsoft Office preferred.



 

Knowledge/Abilities:  Demonstrated initiative, self-starter, and thrives in a team environment. Goal oriented.  Strong recruiting knowledge with ability to identify applicants through a variety of sourcing options.  Creative in advertising design to reach targeted audiences.  Knowledge of general employment laws and understanding of behavioral interviewing techniques and analysis of employment testing data.  Awareness of retention strategies.  Ability to ensure legal and policy compliance.  Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with management, associates, peers, the general public, and clients.  Ability to maintain high level of professionalism and confidentiality.

 



Special Certifications:  Professional Human Resources certification and/or continuing HR/Legal education a plus.
