Sitel is enthusiastically seeking well qualified candidates to apply for the position of HR Recruiter/Representative to be based at our Bogalusa, LA site.

 

Job Summary

 

 

Administers HR policies and programs related to recruitment and selection, associate relations, and other HR functions.  In addition, the HR Representative is responsible for supporting retention initiatives by executing programs developed to improve employee morale and attrition.  Assists HR team members as required.



 

Typical Qualifications

 

 

Education:  4- year college degree preferred.

 



Experience Target:  2 or more years experience in Human Resources with demonstrated experience in recruiting non-exempt personnel or in associate relations or HR administration. General knowledge of employment laws.  Call Center industry experience preferred.

 

Skills: Good interpersonal and collaborative skills including good verbal and written communication skills, presentation skills, facilitation skills, and negotiation skills. Good problem solving, organization, and time management skills.  Excellent customer service skills. Good computer skills – Microsoft Office preferred.



 

Special Certifications :  Professional Human Resources certification and/or continuing HR/Legal education a plus.



 

Abilities:  Ability to serve as a change agent, demonstrates flexibility, self-starter, and thrives in a team environment. Ability to listen effectively to interpret, articulate, and efficiently resolve issues.  Ability to ensure legal and policy compliance. Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with management, associates, peers, the general public, and clients.  Ability to maintain high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
