HRIS Senior Analyst - PeopleSoft
Description:The HRIS Sr. Analyst will be responsible to act as a business liaison with the HRIT department for bridging HR Business requirements with technology and to monitor for the development, implementation, and maintenance associated with the PeopleSoft Human Resources Information System (HRIS). This includes the collection, retrieval, accessibility, reporting and usage of candidate and employee information. This individual will act as a liaison with the IT department bridging the HR business requirements with technology support. Training on enhancements and module implementation will also be a core part of the HRIS Sr. Analyst role, as will providing ad-hoc and routine reporting for internal and external use.- Liaison between IT, HR and the business regarding HRIS requirements.- Integral team member in setting the direction for the development and implementation of PeopleSoft HRIS.- Define system business requirements in conjunction with HR processes.- Responsible for the development and ongoing and maintenance of PeopleSoft master data set-up, tables and internal database files. - Responsible for on-going data management/integrity and administration of HRIS.- Create, maintain, and analyze HRIS reports through PeopleSoft Query, and Excel. - Develop custom reports to meet HR, Finance and Payroll requests and respond to management/employee inquiries for data and/or reports.- Create custom ad-hoc reports and system queries as requested, validating results and ensuring accuracy.- Provide training to PeopleSoft users.- Maintain business documentation of HRIS implementation, customizations, and upgrades.- Ensure that the HRIS system is appropriately secured and that the integrity of data is not compromised. - Strong understanding of HR System design and administration, i.e. data process flows, interfaces and configuration.- Assist with other HR projects as assigned.Qualifications:- Excellent communication (written and verbal), planning, organization, and administrative skills.- Strong analytical skills, proactive approach and detail orientation. - Minimum four years PeopleSoft HRIS experience with comprehensive knowledge of all HR, Payroll and Benefit activities.- Detailed knowledge of PeopleSoft 8.9 HR, Benefits Administration, Talent Acquisition Manager, Learning Management System, and Payroll Interface Modules along with PeopleSoft Query, and MS Excel from an HR and Technical perspective. - Prior experience as a functional lead with large scale HR technology projects for system upgrades, enhancements, and working on a cross-functional project team.- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, multi-task environment.- Ability to work under tight deadlines and balance multiple critical tasks.- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access.- The ability to respect and handle confidential information professionally is required.- The candidate should be technically inclined, process and detail oriented.- Prior working experience with Business Intelligence software related to HR data.- Successful project management leadership skills.- Experience working with a global HRIS environment.BS/BA degree in Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or Human Resources.Salary/Benefits: Salary commensurate with experienceWe offer excellent benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, prescription drug coverage, paid holidays and vacation, disability insurance, life insurance, 401K with company match, profit sharing, Employee Stock Purchase Plan, and the opportunity to prosper in a growing Fortune 500 company.Job Location: Eden Prairie, MNJob Number: 2810Company URL: http://www.chrobinson.com/careers/Company Profile:At C.H.
