Health Communications Specialist

MasiMax Resources, Inc. (MMR), a leading health communications firm based in Rockville, MD, has an opening for a Health Communications Specialist for its office in Washington, DC. The selected candidate will be involved in developing print and electronic health communications and media for the public. In addition, the candidate will work with staff to support the function of the United States Agency for International Development’s Bureau for Global Health. Primary responsibilities include identifying and/or writing content for target audiences, enhancing information presentation, and communicating messages creatively and effectively.

 

Applicants must possess a B.A. in Journalism, Communications, English, or a related field; 5 years’ writing/editing experience; a flair for marketing and knowledge of public health strongly preferred; ability to work independently as well as in a team setting; and strong interpersonal skills. Federal contracting experience is preferred but not required.
