Human Resource Leader

- Strategic business partner to Reliability organization and business support organization, focusing on planning, leading and advising organization related to human resources.- Knowledge of various human resource functions, including recruiting, staffing, compensation, benefits, policies/procedures development and employee relations are utilized to provide HR base business support to employee and managers.- Understands business unit operation. Organization Health issues are proactively identified, raised and resolved. - Constructively challenges customers (employees and managers) by asking questions to gain understanding of issues and partners to confront and resolve difficult issues for customers long term benefit.- Demonstrates knowledge and applies Market Based Management. (Relies on mental models, tools and process to help and support organization).- Maintains compliance with employment laws/ regulations, corporate and other appropriate HR Standards.As a member of the HR team:- Collaborates and shares knowledge/best practices with CC HR Team Members as well as other FHR sites.- Mentors and develops individually as well as HR team capability.- Leads by example and contribute to the success of HR, FHR, and KII- Develop and maintain an FHR HR point of view while understanding site advantages and differences.
Work Experience & Skills Required:Six plus years of progressive HR experience, with emphasis on employee relations. Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills. Refinery, chemical, process or manufacturing experience required. Microsoft applications: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and OutlookEducation Required:Bachelor's Degree in Management, Human Resources, Organizational Behavior, Business, or other related disciplineWork Experience Preferred:Human Resources information systems experience: Peoplesoft Supervisory Experience Other Considerations (optional) (Unique skills, Certifications/Licencses, Timing, Travel, Relocation, etc.):PHR certification Willingness to relocate
