HUMAN RESOURCES GENERALIST

Instawares, LLC, headquartered in Kennesaw, GA, is a leading provider of foodservice equipment and supplies to the commercial and consumer markets. We are an e-commerce company financially backed by ITC Holding Company. ITC has a rich history and a very successful track record and has founded and/or financially backed companies such as Powertel, MindSpring, Knology, e-Company Store, InterCall and Headhunter.net, among others.

 

Instawares is currently seeking a Human Resources Generalist to organize and manage all aspects of the Human Resources function with a primary focus on recruitment, employee relations, payroll and benefits administration.  Reporting to the CEO, the individual will have significant opportunity to positively impact our small, but growing business. Primary functions include:

 

Ø  Provide direction and guidance in the development and implementation of all human resources policies, practices and programs;

Ø  Ensure effective, legal and consistent human resources practices, using knowledge of employment law in combination with company policy, procedures and practice;

Ø  Counsel management representatives in performance management, management skills, and interpretation of human resources policies and practices;

Ø  Counsel employees on policies and investigate employee concerns and complaints;

Ø  Manage the payroll processing activities of the Company;

Ø  Develop, coordinate, and implement effective recruiting, training, and employee recognition programs.

Ø  Aggressively seek talent for current, open and future requisitions, generally non-exempt and technical roles.

Ø  Conduct orientations, initial benefits enrollments and generally assure compliance with federal and state laws related to employment.

Ø  Represent Instawares in the community and at local unemployment hearings.

 

Successful candidates will have at least two years of progressive and varied HR generalist and payroll experience in addition to a related Bachelor’s degree.  We offer competitive wages and comprehensive benefits.
