Reports to: HR Director

 

Status:  Exempt 

 

Job requirements:

 

1.  Bachelor’s degree in human resource management or a related field.  PHR a plus.

 

2.  Minimum of two years human resources generalist and recruiting experience.

 

3.  Excellent customer service and written and verbal communication skills.

 

4.  Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook.  Experience with HRIS, report-writing, and PowerPoint preferred.

 

5.  Proven accomplishments demonstrating strong initiative, excellent problem solving, and good decision making.

 

6.  Ability to handle multiple and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. 

 

Description of Duties:

 

1.  Assist with all aspects of the recruiting process, including advertising, screening, scheduling and conducting interviews, and background/reference checks.

 

2.  Responsible for relocation, employee handbook, immigration, wellness, and unemployment compensation.

 

3.  Assess opportunities for training and/or teambuilding and assist in the delivery of programs.

 

4.  Administer and provide guidance to employees with regard to human resource policies, procedures, and programs.

 

5.  Ensure regulatory compliance at all sites.

 

6.  Keeps abreast of human resource management trends as well as HR legal regulations and recommend changes or innovations and implement where appropriate. 

 

7.  Performs other HR generalist and recruiting duties and project work as assigned.
