A great opportunity with MasterBrand Cabinets could exist for you as the Human Resources Specialist -2nd shift at our Arthur, IL location.Position Summary: Lead Human Resources and Safety initiatives for the 2nd shift in a team oriented environment of 800 associates. Develop and ensure compliance of Human Resources and Safety policies/programs. Support salaried and hourly associates for the location in areas of benefits, safety, culture change, recognition programs, associate concern resolution, and performance management. Normal schedule will be similar to 2nd shift production hours, supporting the 3rd shift at start-up. Duties and Responsibilities: Lead change in a continuous improvement manufacturing environment throughcooperation, education, and facilitation Advise manufacturing leadership on policy clarification/adherence Provide support to 2nd and 3rd shift management to ensure EEOC/OSHA compliance Conduct human resources and safety related investigations Lead employee relations and recognition activities Lead ergonomic projects Perform safety compliance audits (PPE, entanglement, etc) Provide first aid support on 2nd shiftSkills and Abilities:Ability to interact well with others and create a positive teamwork environment.
