INORGANIC CHEMIST

 

Schneider Laboratories, Inc. has immediate openings for an Inorganic Chemist.  The minimum requirements include the following skills:

 Degree in chemistry or related field (5 years laboratory experience may substitute for a degree)Preparing and digesting a wide variety of samplesComputer data entry and use of MS Word and ExcelAccurate preparation of standard solutions at the PPM and PPB levelsPreparing non-contaminated chemical solutionsFollowing standard operating proceduresDeveloping new in-house testing methodsOperating PH Meters, turbidometer, analytical balance, automatic pipets

 

Also, the Candidate must have the knowledge of:

 Basic analytical chemistryLaboratory safetyBasic math

 

Preferred knowledge and skills beyond the minimum requirements include the following:

 Operation of Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry Graphite Furnace Atomic AbsorptionICP Spectrophotometry

 

The candidate must have the ability to

 Work with little or no supervision Work in a team environment.  Communicate effectively
