INSIDE SALES REPS / BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT / OUTSIDE SALES DEVELOPMENT

POSITION SUMMARY: The Inside Sales Representative/Business Development utilizes a variety of sales techniques and knowledge of animal health products to successfully sell to customers primarily via outbound telephone calling.  Representatives will also have field sales responsibility to cover territories on an interim basis of up to 2-3 months, and be expected to relocate to assume full territory responsibilities when territories become available. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:· Bachelors’ Degree in Marketing, Animal Science, Business Administration or similar field required (or equivalent combination of education and experience)· One to two years experience working in a sales environment utilizing suggestion-selling techniques, preferred but not required.  Prior experience with inbound customer service helpful.· Demonstrated aptitude and desire to sell, along with ability to meet and/or exceed goals is a must.· Strong telephone presentation abilities are essential as are strong verbal and written communication skills and credible persuasive skills to initiate and close sales.· Demonstrated ability to handle day-to-day work challenges confidently; willing and able to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, and rapid change.  Must be resilient in the face of constraints, frustrations, or adversity.· Ability to learn technical product information easily· Computer skills essential – preferably with MS Office products, including Outlook, Word, and Excel along with organizational and time-management skills required· Must be able to travel up to 25-30% of the time with ability to remain in field locations for 8 to 12 weeks.  Must be willing to relocate in order to assume full responsibility for open field sales territory as they become available.To apply for this position Please submit your resume, cover letter, and salary requirements to recruitment@ButlerAHS.com .
