IT Audit Lead

Ready to get off the road? A rapidly expanding international leader in Chicago is seeking an experienced IT Audit Lead to join their team.



Responsibilities:



Handle enterprise risk assessments and audit planning



Develop micro risk assessments



Plan, scope and execute audit engagements



Perform audits including strategic, financial, operational and compliance risk elements



Analyze and define control issue root cause



Provide positive assurance and identify control issues



Prepare clear, concise and accurate workpapers and reports



Support external audit testing requirements, including SOX



Continuously develop and improve internal audit processes





Requirements:



Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance



3-5 years of progressive responsibility in IT internal audit experience



Broad understanding of business functions and processes



Working knowledge of internal control structure (e.g., COBIT) and audit standards (e.g. ISACA)



Demonstrated interpersonal skills



Proven analytical ability and established problem-solving skills



Proficient written and verbal communication skills



Adept at working on teams or independently



Demonstrated integrity and work ethic



Ability and desire to travel domestically and internationally – travel up to 25%
