The Company’s Global Supply Chain Project is a strategic initiative charged with designing an enterprise approach for the supply chain.  The in-scope processes include Planning and Scheduling, Order Management, Production Planning, Delivery, and Cost and Profitability.

 

The IT Business Analyst – Cost and Profitability will work in a team environment to recommend and deliver business processes within the project scope.

 

 

The IT Business Analyst  for Cost & Profitability will be responsible for:

 

· Participation in the overall process improvement of the Manufacturing Cost & Profitability functional areas. 

· Analyze user information flows and needs. 

· Provide process and technical knowledge, including configuration, to design/revise SAP cost and profitability reporting systems and processes to meet changing business needs. 

· Ensure the business group needs are being met and that assignments are delivered on time by participating in project/planning meetings and communicating regularly with team management and team.

· Work cohesively with other Information Technology resources, Business Analysts, consultants and business representatives during implementation.

· Complete SAP configuration as assigned.

· Development and document functional specifications for custom ABAP work and BW reporting.

· Perform unit testing for development work and BW reports.

·  Additional duties as assigned.

 

 

Qualifications:  Experience in SAP configuration with some orientation towards the following in the Controlling module: product costing in a discrete manufacturing environment, sales order costing, profit center accounting, variance calculation and analysis, actual costing, transfer pricing, activity based costing and profitability analysis.  Experience with manufacturing cost (mill or converting), variance reporting, standards development and cost estimating is desirable. Strong interpersonal and communication skills required.  BS degree in computer science, accounting, finance or related field preferred.
