IT Data Warehouse Business Systems Analyst

Job Description:For this contract-to-hire position, you will lead and deliver key business intelligence initiatives and enhancements to internal customers at this world-renowned software company.Your responsibilities will include: Collecting and defining business requirements Defining, designing, and driving appropriate reporting and Business Intelligence solutions Analyzing and translating business requirements into functional and technical design specifications Ensuring business needs are managed and prioritized Providing business clients with recommendations on optimizing information usage Defining tasks and creating team work plans Identifying opportunities for process optimization, redesign, or developmentJob Experience: 5+ years related work experience Experience with data warehousing concepts, terminology, and architecture Experience with various business intelligence technologies Experience conducting user acceptance testing activities Understanding of data analysis, modeling, and ETL tools Ability to develop and translate business needs into actionable requirements Ability to learn quickly in a dynamic environment Knowledge of data warehouse concepts and reporting/analytical environments Knowledge of business applications and web applications Keen attention to detail Solid multitasking, analytical, and problem solving skills Excellent communication, negotiation, and collaboration skills Excellent documentation, organization, and presentation skills Bachelors degree in a related field Experience with on-demand applications is a plus Experience with end-user analysis and Business Objects XIR2 tools is a plus Experience training end-users is a plus Experience with agile development methodologies is a plus Hands-on experience with Business Objects is a plus Ability to use SQL for data retrieval/analysis is a plusMinimum Education Required: BachelorYears of Experience Required: More than 5 years For more information about career opportunities with CompuCom Excell Data visit www.excell.com.
