The Project Manager provides project leadership, management and oversight throughout the phases of Unisource's solution delivery methodology (SDM): Plan, Analyze, Design, Build, Test, Deploy. Projects will be 3 - 12 month initiatives that require strategic guidance and oversight due to the importance of these projects for delivering earnings creation and end-to-end business process excellence. Projects will vary depending on size and scope and will require tailored business solutions built on industry leading practices. Project solutions will entail fully integrated process, organizational, and information technology components. This position requires day-to-day management of project team personnel, communication with key stakeholders and subject matter experts, and hands-on, experience-based delivery leadership. This role will also require direct interaction with a broad range of senior, technical and functional managers and subject matter experts throughout the organization. Conduct fact finding sessions with key business and IT staff to assess as-is capabilities, perform root cause analyses, define solution requirements, perform feasibility analyses, and define high-level solution alternatives and approaches Prepare project proposals, business cases, and detailed project plans Provide hands-on project management and actively manage the project plan, deliverables, dependencies, and outcomes for all aspects of the project (including business process, organization, and IT solution components) across all phases of the SDM. Actively monitor, manage, and communicate key project control dimensions including scope, time, cost, resources, risk, dependencies, procurement, and quality across all phases of the SDM. Develop and implement change management and communications plans to ensure solution adoption pre-, during-, and post-implementation Ensure the quality and timeliness of all project deliverables Work with executive and senior management to improve overall project delivery and support processes Develop, monitor, and manage project metrics, in particular, metrics associated with benefit capture Required Skills

7-10+ years relevant project management experienceDegree in Computer Science, Engineering or Business related degreeWholesale distribution, distribution, or retail distribution experience Process design/re-engineering experience, particularly in order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, and pricing/costing processes Experience with large package software evaluation, selection, implementation, and support Experience in any of the following technologies: Price administration and execution(e. g., Vendavo, Zilliant) Enterprise reporting and business intelligence (e. g., Informatica, Microstrategy,) Enterprise performance management (e. g., Hyperion, Business Objects) Enterprise Service Bus implementation (e.g. Webmethods, Tibco) Systems integration consulting experience VALUES: We achieve our vision by creating and living a culture that embraces our core values: Customer Satisfaction, Passion for Results, Teamwork, Learning & Growing and Integrity.
