Candidate will gain exposure in working with Information Security and Risk Management for a multinational enterprise. Candidate will perform the following duties: Network Vulnerabilitiy scans Security scans for Servers prior to implementation into production Assist in the update of Security Patches Coordinate with the Helpdesk to remove malware throughout the enterprise Assist with Disaster Recovery testing and updates as required Required Skills
Candidate will work with various projects related to security governance, anti-virus and anti-spam tools, and metrics pertaining to information security incidents. Ideal candidate will have basic knowledge of telecommunications and network (LAN/WAN) related terminology and theory, and be enrolled in a related college program, working towards Bachelors degree in associated field. Basic PC skills, high initiative, and exceptional oral and written communications are necessary. Candidate must be available to work between 30-40 hours per week, some time between the hours of 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Some flexibility regarding hours and days of week worked within these timeframes is available.
