Provide corporate support for the operating facilities within FHR. This role would help maintain, develop and implement corporate standards around Industrial Hygiene, Safe Work Practices, Contractor Safety capability and general health and safety practices.EXPECTATIONS MEASURES• Drive site implementation of the FHR Health and Safety Compliance Standards to ensure regulatory compliance. Successful implementation of the FHR H&S Compliance Standards at all applicable facilities• Develop and drive consistent industrial hygiene programs for all facilities that meet compliance requirements and accurately identify safety risks. Consistent and effective IH programs in place and valued at all facilities.• Develop and drive consistent processes for measuring H&S performance at all FHR sites Consistent and effective scorecards in place.• Work with facilities to develop actions and solutions to resolve compliance issues and monitor the completion of compliance action items for H&S programs. Minimum expectations are met for documenting and closing issues• Provide assistance with implementation of CSO model for Core Safe Work Practices. Drive consistent procedures across facilities. Consistent core safe work practices in place at each facility and effective.• Implement FHR Contractor Pre-Qualification Approval and Evaluation process Contractor safety scorecard measure• Work with facilities to conduct effective investigations to identify appropriate root causes of incidents and monitor investigations to drive improvement. Investigations effectively conducted and documented with appropriate root causes MBM symptoms identified.• Work with project engineering to provide risk assessment and management support to facilities and projects. Key risks identified and appropriate mitigation controls selected and implemented.• Assist sites in identifying Key Safety Risks at each facility and to ensure controls are being established or in place. Key risk matrices established that includes a listing of controls.• Develop relationships with key stakeholders (line organization, Plant Managers & Site EHS Mgrs.) in order to drive the FHR Health and Safety program goals and objectives. Point of view and contacts made at each site.• Develop routine cross-site networking for Safe Work Practices and Contractor Safety Programs Routine cross site calls, implementation of lessons learned processEOE M/F/D/V
Five or more years of professional experience in health & safety and Industrial Hygiene management. Demonstrated effectiveness in driving and implementing Industrial Hygiene and Safe Programs such as Energy Control, Confined Space, Blinding, Hot Work and Safe Work Permitting. Able to communicate effectively with all levels of organizations.
Work Experience PreferredPrior leadership experience preferred.
Education RequiredB.S. Engineering or SafetyEducation PreferredIndustrial Hygiene Certification
