JOB SUMMARY: Working with clients, develops and may implement programs and/or procedures to ensure regulatory compliance and reduce occupational hazards/environmental liabilities associated with clients' business operations.MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 'Assesses occupational exposures to chemical and physical agents.'Interprets/applies OSHA regulations that relate to occupational exposures. 'Writes technical reports that are clear, legally defensible, and properly formatted. 'Recommends appropriate exposure control strategies to protect worker health.'Assists clients with air/water permit applications and associated reporting'Develops SPCC/SWPPP plans for clients'Assists clients with Form R and Tier II reporting'Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned. EDUCATION/CREDENTIALS:'2 yr Associates Degree with various courses in safety, industrial hygiene, environmental management or closely related field.JOB RELEVENT EXPERIENCE:'2-5 years of industrial hygiene and/or environmental reporting experience.JOB-RELATED SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:'Working knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1910, and EPA 40 CFR guidelines and regulations.
