Information Assurance Analyst

TKCC has a contingent opening for an Information Assurance Analyst. The candidate will serve as the Assistant to the Senior Information Assurance Officer (SIAO) to implement IA requirements and ensure compliance with various federal and Department of Defense (DoD) guidelines across networks at the Unclassified, Secret, Top Secret and TS/SCI levels. The Assistant Information Assurance Officer (SIAO) will assist to achieve full accreditation of systems and conduct continuous monitoring of those systems to assure they retain Certification and Accreditation (C&A) compliance.

The candidate will be responsible for performing the following duties and may perform other related duties as designated by the Program Manager or Senior Information Security Officer.
• Work closely with other organizational security divisions, providing communication, coordination and standardization of work across C&A activities.
• Close coordination with and within subordinate organizations and affiliated units will ensure that organization IA requirements are clearly understood, risks managed and procedures followed.
• Develop an organizational SOP for all C&A efforts within the organization and assist in the maintenance of other required documentation.
• Develop scheduled and milestones for conducting C&A, including the submission of all C&A deliverables.
• Identify products and/or technologies that address requirements identified by the government. Each product will be reviewed and compared as to function and features, ease of implementation and operation, FIPS compliance and cost.
• Test and integrate product or technology.
• Verify compliance with various Federal, DoD and organizational regulatory guidelines and directives to assure that systems and applications operate effectively
• Provide appropriate confidentiality, integrity and availability while protecting information commensurate with the level of risk and magnitude of harm that would result from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, or modification.

Requirements
• 5+ years of experience conducting information systems security analyses or reviews.
• Demonstrated experience in assessing large civilian or non-civilian government Security
• Demonstrated experience in writing and presenting reports to Executive level personnel
• Current Certifications: CISSP or CISM is desired, or;
• Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC), Security Leadership Certification (GSLC) is desired; or

Documented experience in Common Body of Knowledge areas:
• Computer Access Control Systems and Methodology
• Telecommunications and Network Security
• Security Management Practices
• Applications and Systems Development Security
• Cryptography
• Security Architecture and Models
• Computer Operations Security
• Business Continuity Planning and Disaster Recovery Planning

Candidate must have a current Top Secret clearance issued/updated within 36 months.
