As an Infrastructure Project Manager, you will provide project management and oversight on the delivery of multiple technology and business solutions in a complex, geographically dispersed matrix organization. The project management function is multifaceted, requiring a combination of general business acumen, financial services industry intelligence, and broad technical knowledge coupled with the ability to plan, coordinate and execute as core competencies.This challenging position requires superior organizational skills and the ability to coordinate across multiple support partners. As the successful Infrastructure Project Manager, you will possess a broad based technical background with emphasis on knowledge of the banking industry, technology and infrastructure and project management processes. We take pride in attracting the world's finest business and technology consultants.Responsibilities:- Manage cross functional, virtual project teams employing standard project management discipline and processes in delivering the right technology solution to the internal business partner on time and within budget.- Deploy the appropriate technology solution to meet the business requirements.- Ensure all project health / status metrics (FTE hours, all expenses, schedules, etc.) are accurate.Job Experience:Required Experience/Skills:- 5+ years Project Management experience.- Experience in the financial services industry (preferably banking)- Experience building / managing a detailed MS Project work plan (resource loaded) and developing / managing a detailed project budget.- Solid skills in PowerPoint and Visio.- Able to work in a geographically dispersed, complex matrix organization and discern the internal business partner requirements - bringing the voice of the customer into the project.- Ability to effectively communicate (oral and written) and facilitate design and decision-making sessions.- Well-versed on the stages of the systems development lifecycle (SDLC) for custom applications.- Proven expertise in effectively managing projects through the use of tools and templates for: resource planning, risk/issue management, financial management, implementation planning and scope management.Preferred Experience/Skills:- PMP certification is a plus.- Prefer banking experience.- Prefer experience with a formal project management methodology.This is an excellent opportunity to join an innovative and growing enterprise.
