Currently, in our Process Support – Family Care Department; we are seeking an Instruments Journeyman Mechanic for our Everett, WA location. Summary: Instrumentation Journeyman Mechanic is responsible for performing predictive & preventative tasks associated with industrial equipment.Responsibilities:* Install, maintain, calibrate, & replace control valves, electrical/electronic instrumentation, pneumatic instruments, hydraulic equipment, instrument tubing and tubing trays.* Maintain and install all control equipment which measures, indicates, or regulates process variables throughout the mill.* Maintenance of mechanical systems including steam valves, actuators.Qualifications: Basic:- 5 years of experience in industrial settings with Instrumentation-related responsabilities.- Basic computer skills- Ability to work at heights, in pits and in confined spaces- Ability to work overtime and weekends if neededPreferred:- HS diploma or GED - Journeyman License or formal four year apprenticeship- Instrumentation Mechanic experience - Plan work, identify parts and learn the computerized maintenance system for offering job materials or writing work ordersOther:- A strong commitment to working effectively in a team environment- Strong communication and leadership skills, including self-motivation- High degree of “people” skills and be able to effectively communicate with many with many different people on a daily basis.- Ability to work in a manufacturing atmosphere safely and follow safety practices and regulations.- Work with no supervision or in a team to complete work on time- Work with operations to repair or solve issues.
