This position is based in Los Angeles, CA.

Schematic is looking for an Interactive Resource Manager to manage the staffing of the projects in our Pacific Region from conception to completion. Successful candidate will develop and maintain staffing schedules, resolve scheduling conflicts, facilitate weekly status meetings, and liaise with the Resource Managers in other offices to make sure the resources in the company are fully booked. We need someone with an incredible drive, a can-do attitude, and multi-tasking abilities!
The responsibilities will include:
· Manage Company’s Pacific Region Resource Allocation Process which oversees the production staffing assignments for all projects across multiple offices.
· Constantly reviews production schedules, new project deadlines, and resource availability data to ascertain project staffing requirements.
· Liaisons with the other Regional Resource Managers to resolve scheduling issues, inform on resource availability, and keep communication flowing among multiple offices.
· Works with Project Managers in various offices to rectify resource allocation versus actual resource usage to increase project profitability.
· Builds a database that determines and records project assignments according to employee knowledge, skills, and abilities; availability; management requests; and location.
· Maintains and improves Resource Management Tool(s) to provide comprehensive staffing reports to all employees.
· Designs, develops, and implements resource work flow processes and procedures.
· Trains new employees on using company resourcing and budgeting tools.
· Sets-up new projects, creates project codes, and works closely with the Finance Department to track and report project progression.
· Forecasts and estimates resource needs and availabilities.
· Identifies and tracks freelance resources by making sure they are added to schedules and invoicing on time.
· Adjusts resource allocation to meet emergencies and unexpected project demands.
· Coordinates and runs regular resource meetings with department managers.
· Conduct day-to-day follow-up with teams and resources.
· Ad hoc reporting as necessary.
· Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; gathers and analyzes information skillfully; develops alternative solutions; works well in group problem solving situations; uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics.
· Manages difficult or emotional situations with tact; responds promptly to project resource needs and requests for assistance; solicits feedback to improve process
· Understands business implications of decisions; displays orientation to profitability; demonstrates knowledge of marketplace and competition; aligns work with strategic goals
Requirements:
· 3+ years of traffic management or similar experience in a fast pace environment.
· Understanding of web and multimedia development process.
· Bachelor’s degree or related experience.
· Highly self motivated and able to prioritize and get things done with competing demands.
· Ability to motivate and work well with others.
· Understanding of web best practices.
