International Tax Compliance Manager

News Corporation is looking for a highly motivated and energetic International Tax Compliance Manager to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity to learn and grow with one of the pre-eminent media content and distribution companies in the world.  News Corporation has holdings around the globe in several media including television, newspapers, magazines and inserts, filmed entertainment and book publishing.

Responsibilities:

As a member of the corporate tax department you will report directly to the director of international tax compliance.  Major responsibilities include:

Ø Compute earnings and profits for foreign corporations and prepare Forms 5471, 8858, 8865, and 1118.

Ø Gather data, analyze and substantiate foreign source income and foreign income taxes with respect to the News Corporation federal consolidated income tax return.

Ø Support international tax planning with particular focus on foreign tax credit quantification and utilization.Qualifications

Ø Bachelors degree required.  CPA, JD, or Masters in Tax preferred.

Ø Five years of relevant tax experience.  Experience with InSource RS International tax software preferred.

Ø Strong knowledge of US tax compliance requirements with respect to international operations of multinational corporations.

Ø Ability to work as a member of a team and build consensus.

Ø Strong accounting skills.

Ø Good communication skills.

Ø Proficiency in Excel and Word.
