DescriptionMentor less experienced team members, for design and development. Additional technical resource used to tacklemajor technical tasks, risks, issues in design. Provides mediationbetween technical teams. Validates design and development of technical teams. Works closely with Architects and Testing Managers to ensure their needs are met.Required skills:Multiple years of experience in developing Object-Oriented applications using Java and J2EE architecture. --Strengths should include mentoring, teaching, prototyping, refactoring, designing, testing and documentation. --Candidate must possess a desire to lead, teach, and demonstrate highly effective approaches for object-oriented software delivery based on industry accepted and preferred standard patterns. --Candidate must also communicate effectively with management, other architects and designers, other business units, and both experienced and novice programmers. --Candidate must champion ATS goals, mentor and lead other ATS consultants, and be a positive influence. --Additionally, the candidate must be willing to speak up and challenge weak or flawed approaches and provide positive alternatives. --Obviously, the candidate must be well-versed in J2EE architecture and be able to apply its technologies in diverse client environments--A bachelors degree is required, along with 4+ years of related experience.Preferred skills:Familiarity with frameworks such as Hibernate, Eclipse--Experience with Rational Software tools (ClearCase, ClearQuest, RSA, RAD) a plus
