This individual will apply cutting-edge technologies to solve challenging business problems and maximize the IT's value to the organization. The candidate should be able communicate and share ideas, manage change, and work well within small teams to accomplish identified goals.Position Duties and Responsibilities:. Responsible for the complete design, development, testing and deployment of custom written web applications and services. Comprehensive experience with structuring, developing, and implementing interactive applications with a SQL Server 2005+ back-end. Ability to build a framework/base classes for an easily supported common platform. Have solid knowledge of functioning as both of database development and administration to design, develop, and update databases as they relate to the custom application. Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with existing applications. Monitor and report on application traffic and performance to senior management. Develop web services and middle-tier objects. In-depth knowledge of latest .NET technologies, methodologies, development environments and source control techniques. Solid understanding of application development methodologies and life-cycle. Experience in gathering and analyzing business requirements. Experience in defining functional requirements. Familiarity with security concepts and techniques and understanding of Role Based Security authentication/authorization principals. Experience developing reports through Crystal Reports for an open architecture frameworkGeneral Skills:. 5+ years related work experience, preferably in a consulting-type environment.. Good communication and organizational skills.. Highly self motivated and directed.. Keen attention to detail. Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
