There are two positions and the company is offering a base of $100k and is full time! This company is on the verge of developing cures for certain types of cancer and diabetes. This individual could be a part of history in the making! This is a software engineering group whose role is to develop scientific and business applications (full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)). The Java Developer will design, develop and enhance core Java applications using modern software engineering principles and practices.Job Requirements: Requirements elicitation working with a variety of end-users including biomedical researchers and clinicians Collaborate with team on architecture, 3rd party software, software engineering process and tools Design/Development in a small structured Java team environment Current projects include Bio-specimen tracking systems, Science portal Computer Science degree and 3+ years of professional experience Skill Requirements:Senior Software Engineer with 5 years of experience in requirement analysis, application design, software programming, and software testing and debugging. Must have BS degree and skills in J2EE, PHP, XML, UML, RUP/SCRUM, Tomcat/JOBS, Web 2.0/AJAX, RDBMS. 3+ years of core Java/data structures experience 2+ years of experience with J2EE and RDBMS XML and SOA experience preferred Full software development life cycle (SDLC) experience required Team Player and good communicator Biology background preferred (not required) This is a great organization that offers great career growth!
