This position is responsible for activities related to process development and improvements within the organization and to assist the Manager of Process Development with the implementation of the same. Candidate will also be involved in the implementation of project management improvement programs. Candidate will assist in the translation of business process procedures and diagrams into action plans to meet the company process maturity ambition level. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:. Documentation of existing processes in the local company. Design, development and implementation of process improvements within the North American organization. Assist in the evaluation, selection and integration of tools and methods assuring company business processes optimization. Assist the MPD with the training of employees in process improvements, methods and tools pertaining to processes and project management. Assist in troubleshooting and solution implementation for process problems that occur within the company under the guidance of the MPD. Preparation of process diagrams, reports and communications to management, interacting with various internal departments, outside experts and consultants as required and directed. Assist MPD in building and maintaining a project management competence throughout the company. Assist in the development of training programs for process improvement, competence development in project managementKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:. At least two (2) years of direct experience in related fields. Experience should include some experience in project management, scheduling and process development & implementation . International exposure a plus. Helpful with regards to French, German, Indian and British culture, desired. English fluency is essential. Proven ability to interact and communicate with internal customers. Solid computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to utilize MS Office products and scheduling programs. High energy level and sense of humor essential. Superior verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills required . Ability to draft professional memoranda and correspondence . Ability to make formal and informal presentations to management, and technical and non-technical staff (not afraid of public speaking). Experience initiating and participating in remote training sessions. Ability to prioritize workload and shift work activities in order to meet business needs and department goals. Ability to document recommendations regarding job methods and procedures. Experience working with instructions and procedures for work materials. Must be able to independently arrange and organize work efforts on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis. . Experience creating end user training materials. Must be able to meet tight deadlines. . Ability to multi-task on a consistent basis. Ability to conceptualize and implement performance objectives that meet established requirements. Ability to "think-outside-the-box" is essential.
