LOSS PREVENTION SPECIALIST (Truckgate)

Regular second shift

Part-time 2:30 p.m. – 7 p.m.Monday – Friday

Responsibilities:

 







v Monitors truck driver and contractor entrance and exit through the EBFS truck gate

v Watchful of acts of carelessness or violations of EBFS company policy and reports those acts to the loss prevention control room and/or loss prevention management

v Communicates with external service contractors and trucking company drivers.  Treats all contractors and truck drivers with respect

v Generates a daily log of truck gate activity and conducts checks on trailer deliveries and delivery methods (i.e.paperwork, seals, etc)

v Responds to alarm calls, medical assistance and various other facility personnel dispatches

v Monitors employee entrance and exit through the EBFS facility entrances.  This includes checking employee I.D. badges and visual inspection of baggage and garments, as required to detect stolen merchandise and prohibited items

v All other assigned duties related to the essential functions of the position

 

Requirements:

 

v High school diploma or equivalent

v Previous experience in loss prevention, security, retail, customer service, warehouse or other related field

v Basic computer data entry skills

v Basic report writing skills
