Language Services Specialist/ Hmong Department: Diversity Resources Schedule: Pool Position Shift: varied shifts and hours Hours: 1 week on call and 1 weekend on call per month + add'l hours Job Details: Bachelor's degree or equivalent proven linguistic abilities in interpreting. Must be bilingual in Hmong and English. Possess command of bilingual medical terminology. Provides interpretation for patients of limited English proficiency, as well as providers, in clinical settings in a linguistically and culturally competent manner to ensure accurate and complete understanding with professional command of bilingual medical terminology. Completion of a Medical Interpreter training program desired.
