Launch Services Activations Coordinator
JOB SUMMARY:
The Launch Services Activations Coordinator reports to the Manager of Customer Support within the CMC's Operations Management Center (OMC) organization. This position works directly with OMC personnel, Sales, Finance, Motorola, Content providers and MSO's. Responsible for providing a variety of service support elements to the Operations Management Center support staff. Position includes: system specific data gathering and input, coordination, communication and project management.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:*
- Develop and ensure timely distribution of new system launch's and conversions.
- Process purchase orders for CMC-HITS Quantum services
- Assist Sales and Product Deployment Managers
- Maintain soft and or hard copies of all documentation.
- Route network authorizations through approval process.
- Process and audit entries into the SAMS authorizations database.
- Other functions that may be assigned
- Highly organized self-starter, with the ability to complete projects with minimal supervision
- Ability to manage multiple projects with strict deadlines. Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
- Good communication skills verbal and written and the ability to communicate through multiple mediums, phone fax, and email.
Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or equivalent experience 2-3 years' experience in cable system operations. (billing, training and/or customer service, technical support, or account management)
Requires the ability to discuss Access Control delivery systems, networks and developing technology with affiliates in corporate regional and system levels.4
Requires computer competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Flow Charts and MS Project. SQL and database structure knowledge a plus.
Requires ability to travel upon request.
