Lead Clinician - Program for Assertive Community Treatment

As a large, multi-service community mental health agency, The Edinburg Center maintains a specific commitment to providing services to persons whose complex and challenging needs have typically been barriers to successful community living. Full-time (40 hour) position available to fill the dual role of a PACT clinician and assistant to the team leader and psychiatrist in the organization and operation of the clinical program. Principle duties include: In coordination with the team leader, takes a lead role in providing clinical treatment services. In coordination with the team leader, provides regular clinical and administrative supervision to staff. In coordination with the team leader, initiates and maintains relationships with collaterals. In coordination with the team leader, adheres to agency expectations for quality assurance and maintenance of program policies and procedures. Provides on-call crisis intervention. Assumes primary case management responsibilities for assigned clients. Conducts comprehensive assessments for assigned clients. Fulfills other duties consistent with position as assigned

 

 Qualifications: Master’s level psychiatric clinician in mental health related field and three years experience with mental health experience required. LICSW preferred. Experience working as part of a multidisciplinary team in the provision of clinical, rehabilitative and recovery oriented services to consumers with major mental illness preferred.  Experience working with persons with major mental illness and co-occurring substance abuse disorders preferred. Supervisory experience preferred. Valid driverslicense and reliable transportation required.
