Chemistry Lecturer

The Department of Chemistry at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse (www.uwlax.edu/chemistry) seeks a full-time, academic-year lecturer for Aug. 25, 2008 through May 24, 2009. Teaching duties will include introductory chemistry lectures and laboratories and, possibly, additional courses in the area of expertise of the candidate (biochemistry and analytical chemistry areas preferred). The successful candidate will possess a Ph.D. degree in chemistry or closely related field by Aug. 2008, evidence of effective teaching, excellent oral and written communication skills, and an ability to work collaboratively with academic colleagues.
