Job Requirements:

 

Undergraduate degree in Business /Accounting or minimum of 5 years logistics/customer service/accounting experience.  Nonferrous industry experience is a plus.

 

2. Position demands an energetic, well-organized individual who is adaptable to changing assignments and priorities, works well under pressure and prefers a fast pace.

 Exhibits initiative and ability to work with minimal supervision.

 Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

 PC skills in word processing,  spreadsheets and database (Microsoft WORD,  EXCEL and Outlook preferred).

 Available for overtime.

 Proven effective customer service skills.

Description of Duties:

 Develops an overall working knowledge of departmental commercial, transaction accounting practices and operating systems.

 Develops and maintains relationships with transportation companies, freight forwarders, warehouses, third party processing facilities and aluminum consumers.

 Contract management including shipment performance as well as consumer/inventory postions.

 Shipment scheduling and follow up.

 Shipment coordination between physical moves and accurate/timely system recording. System recording includes shipment notice, weight and freight bill entry.

 Transaction analysis and problem resoultion,  including customer phone contact as well as interaction with DJJ commericial and administrative personnel.
