Job Experience:Expertise in one or more of the following is required:. z/OS (MVS & JES) . SMP/E . Assembler Language Coding. VTAM. TCP/IP . JCL & IBM Utilities . Omegamon for MVS . TSO/ISPF/SDSF . Mainframe S/W installation and maintenance experience . Problem determination. Additional job requirements include: . Strong communication and interpersonal skills. . Ability to work overtime as required. . Provide 7x24 support when required. . Provide hotline support for business groups and operations. . Provide off-hour problem and change implementation support. . Provide on-site support for Business Continuation testing. . Hours of work to be confirmed.. Knowledge of Japanese culture and business practices. Bilingual - Fluent with English and Japanese (preferably Level 1 language proficiency certification). Travel to Japan may or may not be required (expenses will be covered). Run and document teleconferences with people in Japan. Strong PC technical skills -- MS Word, Visio, PowerPoint and Microsoft Project
