Maintenance Technician - Part Time

Kaufman Financial Center seeks a part-time maintenance technician to work under direct supervision assisting with minor interior and exterior repairs to their corporate headquarters building located in Farmington Hills, Michigan. 

 

Includes the maintenance of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, concrete, masonry, roofing, painting, property grounds, signage, outdoor furniture, and snow/ice removal. Applicant must possess good mechanical ability, be detail oriented with the ability to follow instructions and to properly use tools and equipment to maintain the interior and exterior of the property.   The Maintenance Technician must have good communication skills and a high level of trustworthiness, be a team player and be ready to help out where and when needed.  Interact with tenants, employees, visitors, guests and suppliers in the building in a professional, courteous manner.

 

Must respond promptly and effectively in emergency situations.  Will be required to work on-call responding to emergencies 

 

Qualifications  

 Technical, vocational or on-the-job training in either HVAC, electrical, mechanical, painting, plumbing, carpentry or engine repair.  Good interpersonal and communication skills. Basic analytical skills.Fundamental computer capabilities.  Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, climb and lift up to fifty (50) lbs.  A valid Michigan driver’s license, good driving record and reliable transportation required.
