Manager, Internal Controls - Inventory

Our client, an international distribution company, located in South Jersey seeks a Manager, Internal Controls & Logistics.  In this position the incumbent will be responsible for, but not limited to:Taking an active role in ensuring that all internal controls and proper procedures are adhered to as they relate to inventory control and distribution.Identify areas of weakness and make recommendations to strengthen proceduresManage, design and implement proper controls and ensure adherenceAdminister and execute cycle count programsMaintain accurate perpetual inventory balancesImplement and maintain Quality Assurance processes Design and implement SOX flow charts and process documentsPerform routine control assessmentsReconcile inventory variancesConduct inventory audits and prepare audit reports

The ideal candidate possesses a BS Degree coupled with 5+ years of experience in distribution operations, supervisory experience required, proven analytical skills, proficiency with inventory accounting, ability to summarize and analyze large quantities of data, proven experience implementing controls and processes, ability to identify risks and areas of weakness, strong understanding of distribution, strong problem solving skills, ability to manage conflicting deadlines, strong attention to detail, experience with SOX compliance, strong communication skills both written and verbal.
