Job description   Manages a function that is responsible for the development and implementation of activities in production area(s) to meet production goals, quality, cost and predictability objectives in a complex manufacturing site. Provides management direction and guidance to direct reports and other support groups. Obtains commitment and execution at subordinate and peer levels of the organization to achieve business plan. Prioritizes production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency and materials supply. Manages procedures and budgets. Makes budgetary recommendations on capital expenditures and direct/indirect labor. Selects and develops personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the production function. Manages schedules and manpower requirements for assigned areas. Responsibilities include defining the organization short-term and long-term goals and developing detailed plans to achieve those goals. Your profileBachelor's (undergraduate)degree in Business Administration or related field Master's (graduate)degree in Business Administration or related field a plus Project management experience in a process engineering/manufacturing environment PC literacy is essential Experience in managing diverse Production/remanufacturing environment Experience supervising workers and/or projects in a manufacturing environment Experience developing operational procedures and guidelines Ability to provide input to drive strategic direction for overall manufacturing processes © 2007 Hewlett-Packard Development Company, L.P.
