Prometric is seeking an experienced Manager - Program Management with demonstrated management & operational execution responsibilities for high profile and/or multi-million dollar account.
The Manager - Program Management is responsible for leadership, training, and oversight of segment assigned program managers. Coordinates, prioritizes, manages, tracks, monitors and communicates internally and externally the execution of clients' operational requirements, SLAs, and new implementations for assigned clients; develops lists of tasks and schedules meeting the operational requirements & needs of the clients; facilitates completion of projects on time and within budget. This position oversees multiple, simultaneous segment based projects and clients, and coordinates the efforts of the assigned Program Managers to drive internal and external resources required for cost effective operational execution for the segments' clients. This person analyzes operational issues and develops/implements sustainable solutions to those problems, while navigating volatile schedules and communicating changes to all concerned
Responsibilities:
Strategy/Account Planning:Facilitates operational-based input to segment client teams in support of strategic & tactical account planning
Leadership/Management (client):Collaborates with Client Team Leader and Account Managers to prioritize objectives, work streams, and deliverables across Program Management team; Facilitates operational-based communications key client representatives
Lead & Develop Staff:Hires & trains new staff as necessary; Oversees, prioritizes, manages and allocates resources, workload and accounts; Facilitate collaboration in developing sustainable solutions to client-based operational issues & challenge
Operations:Manages multiple work streams across operational areas; works to improve existing procedures and create procedures / work streams when deficiencies are identified; Utilizing Project Management principles, manages work streams related to bringing a new client / new product/service to revenue for segment clients.
Revenues/Profitability:Understands segment revenue and margin goals and how operational execution affects both; puts action plans and work stream in place to deliver operational based goals for clients; participates in client contract review, new business opportunities, and new product/services planning.
Administration:Effectively manages administrative duties including performance review, objective setting, budget and merit cycle planning, expense management, and projects as assigned by senior management
Candidate Qualifications:Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Operations, Supply Chain, and/or Technology Curriculum; Demonstrated work experience of leveraging technology based skills in a business environment; Exposure to basic concepts related to Project Management, Multiple Propriatary Application; Experience in managing high profile and/or multi-million dollar accounts; Manage multiple, simultaneous projects and clients Coordinate internal/external resources and clients Analyze problems and develop solutions Ability to set and manage client expectations Maintain volatile schedules and communicate progress, issues, resolutions & changes Work independently and under pressure while meeting schedules and tight deadlines Experience with project management software Collaborate with Account Manager on statements of work & service level agreement execution & reporting Ability to travel Develop working knowledge of Prometric products and services Ability to organize teams to work on specific projects Ability to prioritize demanding/competing deadlines
